A US ship was brutally attacked and witnesses were silenced! It happened June 8, 1967.
On June 8th, 1967, Israeli warplanes and torpedo boats launched a ferocious two-hour attack on the USS Liberty as she sailed under a U.S. Flag in International waters. Of the 294 men aboard the vessel, 34 were killed and 174 were wounded. When the attack ended the survivors were ordered not to discuss it and a massive coverup by the governments of Israel and the United States denied these men the right to the recognition they deserved. Some of these survivors live in Florida today. We honor them and salute their courage, remembering all who died in one of the most shameful episodes of maritime history. IT IS TIME TO HOLD ISRAEL ACCOUNTABLE!
